Stock Market for Beginners and Investing for Beginners Guide in 2018 is a video where I go over how to invest, buy, sell, and trade in the stock market (stocks) for beginners in 2017, 2018 and beyond. I cover the basics of getting started in the stock market and investing. As a beginner, it can be intimidating to get started with stocks and the stock market in general – and this video will break it down for you to give you a step by step on how to get started. I went over things in this video that I wish I knew when I was getting started in the stock market and investing, and I wanted to share these tips and advice with all of you.

It really all comes down to 2 big questions you need to ask yourself, and you need to have a resounding YES as the answer to both to get started:
1) Are you comfortable with losing money?
2) Are you willing to spend a few hours learning how to manage your own money?

We have to remember that stocks go up and down in price, and when you buy into a company, you have a 50/50 chance of it going up/down. Beginners will typically let emotions get the best of them in this case – if the price goes up 5% after they buy it, then will get the mentality that investing is easy and they are a good investor. If the stock price goes down 5% after they buy it, they might panic and sell the position, incur a loss, and then say how investing in a scam or how investing isn’t for them. Don’t let emotions rule your decisions! If you are comfortable with losing money, especially in the short term, give your position time to recover. If you are willing to spend time and manage your own money, you will have no problems making significant gains over the years – but remember to always stay humble and disciplined.
